Clinical Director Intensive Care FCICM

This is an exciting leadership role - Clinical Director , Intensive Care. As Clinical Director, Intensive Care you will be responsible for staff across multiple streams including the education and supervision of trainees, under and post grad students, and staff. The job has a 0.5 FTE clinical component.

Remuneration highlights:

 

 

  • Up to $560k first year package plus on-call and other (depending on years at consultant level).
  • $560k includes: up to 25k pa car allowance paid w. salary.

  • 20k incentive allowance (paid over first 12months of employement).

Selection Criteria includes but is not limited to

 

 

  • FCICM
  • Leadership skills and experience in leading and contributing as a team member in a multidisciplinary approach to service provision.
  • Extensive clinical experience with very good knowledge and skills in intensive care medicine. 
  • High levels of professionalism. 
  • High level leadership and management skills. 
  • Abilities to lead service improvement through research and quality improvement activities.
  • Skills to advocate for improvements in health care through involvement in relevant professional bodies and forums.
  • A commitment to education and research.
