On behalf of our client, we are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced psychiatrist to take on the role of Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services, based at Townsville University Hospital Mental health service. Join a dedicated team in the beautiful, tropical city of Townsville, North Queensland, and contribute to a leading psychiatric rehabilitation service that spans a Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit, two community facilities, and a Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team.
As Clinical Director, you will lead high-quality clinical and non-clinical services, drive medical workforce management, and play a pivotal role in service development. This role offers opportunities for academic engagement, from research to teaching the next generation of health professionals.

Role Highlights
You will:
- Lead psychiatric rehabilitation initiatives across various clinical settings.

- Collaborate with state and national psychiatric networks.
- Directly oversee a talented team of psychiatrists and support staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified psychiatrist with FRANZCP recognition or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical governance, and workforce development.
- Ability to innovate and foster collaborative relationships across departments and teams.
