You will be based in the Community Clinic in Albany and will undertake outreach clinics to surrounding towns and communities.
Working alongside other regional mental health services as well as the inpatient ward, you'll enjoy a friendly and collegiate learning and work environment. In this service you'll be presented with a range of mental health conditions and you will work closely with the Paediatric team and other local youth services, NGOs and primary heath services. If interested you can enjoy research opportunities supported by existing connections with the local university and Rural Clinical School. The department encourages new projects - a number of recent projects have been award winning.

Selection criteria
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualifications gained in either NZ, UK (CCT not CESR) , Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa.
- Deep experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, especially in community.
- Willingness to participate in internal teaching initiatives.
- A strong collaborative ethos.
- First class communication skills.
