This major metropolitan mental health service in Perth Western Australia has a requirement for a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to work in an inpatient setting.
The ward has 14 beds with FTE of 1.8 psychiatrists. There is also a registrar and a RMO. The post could suit a general adult psychiatrist with interests in neuro-development disorders and would be interested in working with younger adults.

Selection criteria
- FRANZCP or equivalent specialist training gained in UK >2007 to satisfy expedited specialist pathway requirements.
- Experience in general adult psychiatry ideally with interest in providing psychiatric care to youths aged 16-24 years old.
- First class communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead and help your MDTs.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and supervising medical staff.
