Job: Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry - Inpatient
Location: Wollongong, near Sydney, Australia. 
Rem: Up to $400k - new wage agreement to supersede this is currently being negotiated. 

Closing date: 10th December 2024.

 

 

  • Provide expert psychiatric care, assessment, and treatment for inpatients.  
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred care.  
  • Contribute to service innovation, education, and research.

Selection criteria

 

  • FRANZCP or equivalent completed in comparable countries of training such as NZ, Ireland, UK, USA, Canada and South Africa.

  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching both under and postgraduate.
  • Ability to work collaborative in a MDT environment.
