This is an excellent opportunity for Maternal Fetal Medicine Consultants to become part of North Queensland’s only Maternal Fetal Medicine unit offering expert clinical care to women with diverse and complex needs.
This MFM service provides a comprehensive range of screening, diagnostic, and support services for both public and private healthcare sectors. Following a major investment boost they have moved into new facilities which includes an upgrade to fetal cardiology, additional fetal sonography rooms, more clinical space etc. and now have funding to recruit 2 additional consultants.

Selection criteria
- FRANZCOG or with either qualifications as a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) subspecialist with Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists or currently in training to obtain MFM subspecialty (MFM training fellow with RANZCOG).
- Or equivalent MFM qualifications gained in UK, Ireland , Canada or USA.
- Willingness to travel to provide outreach services.
- First class communication skills.
- Personable approach to team work.
- Willingness to participate in clinical governance activities.
