This role is central to providing specialist care in a regional referral center, offering services to both Bunbury Hospital and surrounding South West hospitals. You'll play a key part in delivering top-tier patient care, supporting a network that includes GP Obstetricians and Midwives, and engaging directly with patients to ensure their involvement in their healthcare journey.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional clinical care in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Mentor and support Doctors in Training and health service practitioners, ensuring high standards in education and patient care
- Engage in research and audit, contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.
- Drive patient safety initiatives and maintain high clinical standards, working within the WACHS/SW framework
Selection criteria:
- Fellowship of RANZCOG or equivalent
- Strong clinical leadership skills and a commitment to teaching
- First class communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Experience in clinical research, experience in regional health care, and level 4-6 AGES laparoscopic training or equivalent RANZCOG ATMs.
