Key Responsibilities

 

  •  Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.   
  •  Provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and allied health professionals.   
  •  Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring their active involvement in the care process.   
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities to enhance service delivery.   Engage in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of mental health practice.  

 

Essential Criteria: 

  

  • Demonstrated expertise in addictions medicine OR addictions medicine.
  • This experience in Australia or NZ, Ireland, nations of the UK, USA or Canada. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.  
  • A strong commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and patient-centred care.  

  

Desirable Criteria:

  

  •  Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.  
  •  A passion for teaching and mentoring junior medical staff.
