As consultant - staff specialist - psychiatrist
Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborative working, actively supporting, and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
- Working as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across metropolitan Sydney.
- Providing senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Working directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and hospitals
- Supporting your peers , mdt colleagues and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
Selection criteria
- FRANZCP or equivalent gained in NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, South Africa.
- Strong experience in child and adolescent psychiatry , within a community context.
- Experience in leadership and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team context.
- High level communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and education.
- Commitment to your own professional development.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and clinical excellence.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
